The Air Jordan 1 brand kicked off 2022 with a new colourway to add to its historical lineage. Upon observation, it’s clear the construct of the trainer has been thoroughly thought through, with the dark water blue toe tip, vamp, eyestays, heel, collar and Nike swoosh perfect off-setted by the crisp black toe box, quarter and tongue. These sombre tones are completely contrasted by the bright white midsole, adding flair to the overall silhouette. To finish off, the brand has stayed to the primary colour adding a marina blue outsole.
Even though the silhouette is what we expect from the Air Jordan 1 series, there are a few adaptions that make this colourway unique. Where we are used to seeing the Jordan emblem on the tongue tag, innersole and shoebox, it has been replaced with the ‘Nike Air’ badge and branding.
